Jamie Simpson is an Events, Partnerships and Community Engagement Officer at Darumbal Community Youth Service, a community-controlled organisation delivering youth and family support services across Central Queensland. A proud Wakka Wakka man, Jamie is passionate about empowering young people through culture, mentoring and community connection. His work focuses on strengthening engagement pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth, particularly those experiencing vulnerability, disengagement or contact with the youth justice system. Jamie brings extensive experience in community engagement and youth development, with a strong commitment to creating culturally safe spaces that support healing, resilience and positive futures for young people.
